At Junior Camp bare feet and imaginations run wild! Young Friends ages 9-11 will create memories to last a lifetime of living in a loving and fun community. We will all make new friends while taking part in creative arts, science and nature exploring, waterfront activities, drama games, sports, music, stories and lots more. Young campers are encouraged to care about each other, share Quaker values and have tons of fun. NeeKauNis focuses on Quaker values of Community and Simplicity - so we have an ‘unplugged’ camp without cell phones or ipods, etc.

Co-Directors Kara Kriner and Jenn Preston are both Moms and former junior campers themselves! Jenn works for Friends doing Quaker service. Kara is a registered massage therapist. This is their sixth season directing Junior Camp.
