Our 2021 Season: Respite and Care

Please stay tuned here to see updated information about our 2021 Season. We plan to open to family groups and bubbles for self-catering options. Our registration options are being developed and will include screening tools, safe visit planning, self-catering options, work-focussed stays or time for relaxation and renewal in our beloved Quaker space. We published a pre-registration form in our most recent newsletter, anticipating re-opening.

Here is a link to the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit. SMDHU is our main source of information for planning our 2021 season. We have a link to the provincial closure guidance here. Here is Camp NeeKauNis's coVID protocol.

We will let all of you know as more changes and safe-opening recommendations are announced. If you have any questions please contact us at neekaunis-clerk@quaker.ca and camp.neekaunis@gmail.com. Please be aware that our Camp Administrator is not a volunteer and has restricted hours. She may redirect your concerns to a Committee Member.  Please be well. We miss you all.

Our big projects this year include finishing the interior framing in Haslam Cottage and repainting the exterior. By the time you come back to Camp, you will see a new roof on Haslam Cottage, a refreshed interior and exterior. Last season we refreshed the kitchen. We will have some surprises for you as well at the Camp House, in the art room and on the grounds. As always, we are grateful for your energy, donations of time, money and kind thoughts.
